As a belly dancer I do belly rolls in my chair all the time. These can be tough to master at first, but I also break it down to contracting and relaxing the upper abs or the lower abs separately, which are the foundations to learning belly rolls themselves. The great thing about doing abdominal contractions is you can do it while you're typing/etc and someone walking by is not going to be like "what the heck is that girl doing?"0

A good one I was told a long time ago, sit up straight with your back off your chair, lift your knees up (feet off the floor) so the backs of your knees/thighs are off the seat. Hold with your core, do not bend your back. Do it without holding on to your desk for more intensity.

thanks for all the responses guys...and the website links..will def check them all out...I might even create a desk exercises schedule..different each day...will certainly make work more interesting...
another good tip to get some walking in is walk to the furthest toilet away...I do that sometimes...up the stairs to the one on the highest floor...0 -
