My daily calorie goal is 1250, when I exercise it says that I gained calories. So today it added 940 calories because of my exercise, is this correct? Or should I just eat my 1250 calories

This tool as with many others out there will alllow you to "Earn" extra calories based off exercise. It is totally a choice to do so. I have sometimes done that if I feel deprived. Most generally I choose to NOT do it as it lessens the impact, in my opinion and for me during my journey made me get use to eating more and when I did not exercise as much I felt hungry or had cravings. It is kinda like a bak you get so much per day to spend and Exercise is a deposit.

Again it is a choice to do so or not. If you have 102 to loose. As I had 239 to loose I found it not a good option but will say as I did before I did use them on occasion but tried to stay with healthy choices.

The simple answer is yes. My fitness pal allows you to eat back your exercises calories.

My fitness pal is set up to give you a deficit based upon how much you want to lose. Let's say you are aiming for 1 pound per week and MFP says eat 1250 calories. Just eating that and not exercising should, theoretically, allow you to lose 1 pound per week.

If you exercise off another 500 calories per day, you will lose (again theoretically) 2 pounds that week. But 2 pounds isn't what you're aiming for. So, you get to eat back those 500 calories each day.
