I'm curious about everyone on here. Have you been heavy all of your life or was it something else that caused you to gain? If so, what was it?

I have always been a big girl, always struggled with keeping my weight down. I swam for 8 years competitively, eating about 2700 calories a day because I could. (Still a little over weight, but had alot of muscle and exercise to help me out.) I got tendonitous in both of my shoulders and one of my knees from over rotation, and running bleachers the wrong way. Ended up quitting. Also going through a family crisis with my parents getting divorced. Ate the same 2700 calories a day but stopped working out. I ballooned, gaining about 70 pounds. I was 17 then and weighed about 225lbs. I checked my self more recentley about a year ago and I was 249lbs. Highest I have ever been.... But I'm here now and straightening up my life. Getting back on track.

I've lost 24lbs so far and with the help of my friends here I know I can lose the rest! (:
