The other day I bought one of those Fellows paper shredders for 11 bucks. They go for like 189 at Staples. That was cool.

I bought a computer chair once but I was kinda nervous about buying it used. It was very clean and it didnt smell so I bought it. I think I paid 9 dollars for it. $129 new, easy.

    You having fun entertaining yourself?

Only thing I ever bought at a swap meet was a lamp. It broke soon after. I paid more than a dollar. In all fairness, it would have broken if it had been brand new.

When I was like 6 years old I bought a cassette tape of Run DMC's tougher than leather album at a swap meet. I believe I paid $1.

Never been to a swap meet, but I got a pottery barn children's arm chair for 10 bucks in new condition that normally run 300 plus dollars at a yardsale.

I don't do the swap meet stuff much, but I'm on craigslist and in thrift stores all the time.`Last time my elder son had a growth spurt a replaced his entire wardrobe with nice, nearly new, mostly brand name stuff from a thrift store, and only spent like $50. We recently bought a $200 dog house for $7. It's fun.

I've never been to a swap meet but I hear that the ones in my area sell IDs and SSNs. That's how it goes near the border, I guess.
