for Halloween?


I love Halloween, and I love dressing up. Since we finally have a house, so we're going to hand out candy in the early evening. I'm going to wear my kitty ears and collar to hand out candy so I don't scare the kids.

Then we're going to dress up in our real costumes and go out to the bar. I'm going to be a vampire and I got this awesome "vampire queen" dress. Thanks to Twilight and True Blood, I was just going to wear regular clothes and be a "modern vamp", but then I figure how often do you get to wear this cool poofy victorian dress? I can't wait to do my make-up for it!

My boyfriend can't decide what to be....first he says Michael Meyers, then Jason, then Sweeny Todd, he even thought maybe Paul Bunyon......I vote Sweeny Todd, while not a vampire, I think it would compliment my costume.

I'm going to be a very real looking demon dressed in normal black clothing. I was told its scary looking even for adults. :laugh:

My family is going as the Flintstones. We always wear a sticky-uppy ponytail in our 13-month-old daughter's hair and people keep saying she looks like Pebbles. So we're all going to dress up.

Going as Abby Sciuto from NCIS...at least I already have all the clothes and make-up (I love being me)...just need to go out and buy a stuffed hippo and a name badge. LOL. I'd be a vamp but I've been one so many times and with the Twilight and True Blood hype...I don't want to look as if I'm posing...as I trully loved the books long before they became popular.

Going as Abby Sciuto from NCIS...at least I already have all the clothes and make-up (I love being me)...just need to go out and buy a stuffed hippo and a name badge. LOL. I'd be a vamp but I've been one so many times and with the Twilight and True Blood hype...I don't want to look as if I'm posing...as I trully loved the books long before they became popular.

Yeah I am kind of worried about all the hype of Twilight and going as a vampire. But at least I'll look like a traditional one, they don't have fangs in twilight:laugh:

I really wanted to be the Corpse Bride but I couldn't find a dress. I tried going to a second hand store but all they had was really poofy, glittery ones from the 80's. I think I will be the corpse bride next year and start earlier, and just find a simple white dress somewhere.

Wow, that's amazing! I could never spend that much money on a halloween costume though:sad: That's about how much I would like to spend on my own wedding dress. Though we do talk about getting married next fall, maybe I could do that new tradition of "trash the wedding dress" and turn my dress into the corpse bride dress:laugh:
