over 50 overweight/need exercise

I have been overweight most of my life and have been yo yo ing for most of my life also. I am trying to help my husband lose weigt for health reasons and have decided that I need to do this for myself also. I started May first and have been eating around 1400 calories a day and have lost 19.5 lbs so far. One of the things that has helped me is the Special K protein drinks, if I use these as a supplement for 1 or 2 meals a day I can eat normally for the 3rd meal. My snacks are greek yogurt, almonds, 40cal fudgecycles and fruit. Using the daily planner helps a lot. The only thing I can't get going on in exercise, hopefully soon.
