I'm still on P90X, but look online for alternative balance/medicine balls ... way cheaper than buying thru BB.0

i think the first few weeks you don't need them, if i read correctly, so i'll look this weekend maybe0

Hi!
I'm currently doing P90X2 and am in Phase II.
I spent 6 weeks in the first phase (including the recovery week) and HIGHLY recommend using the stability and medicine balls. It probably does depend where you're starting from, but if you do everything with clean form in Phase I with the stability and medicine balls then you're going to get a fantastic workout. If you've not really doen anything as extreme as this before, then you'll probably be ok starting without the extra equipment, but if you want to really get your core ready for Phase II then you need to crank up the intensity and the balls are great for that. Clean form is everything though. I've read on the BB forums that people thought Phase I was easy! It's only easy if your form sucks and you don't do it properly. If you put in 110% with good form and keep upping the weight, you'll be amazed how quickly things come together. The better you get at the routines, the harder they get as well, which is nice! I'm looking forward to re-trying the Phase I workouts after I finish the programme - apparently they're much tougher second time through.
I'm currently having a mid-Phase II recovery week since I'm doing two blocks of phase II (the previous one using the standard workouts and my next block cycling in V-Sculpt and CST).
If you need to know anything (apart from about Phase III, of course - ask me in a month) just let me know. There are some unbelievably good workouts in this program. The Yoga workout is a real standout for me - don't skip the Yoga!
PS I bought my stuff from Amazon in the UK and found a pretty good and cheap Stab ball (make sure it's rated to take some weight since you'll be using weights while perched on it). You can't buy stuff from BB in the UK (which also make me immune from the whole 'coach' thing too - which is nice!)0
