Need a New Scale - Recommendations?

Can someone recommend a reliable brand of scales? Mine gives me 5 different readings if I step on it 5 different times. I need something that's accurate.
Thanks!

Have you tried replacing the battery? Might be dying and that's why it's giving you different readings. Or ensure it's on a flat, level surface that is not carpeted.
I use a health-o-meter... at times it can give different readings. Not many scales are totally accurate but as long as you are consistant.0 -
I got a weight watcher one from Walmart and I noticed when I ws pregnant that it weighed the same as the doctors one so I trust it for accuracy.0

Mine was kinda pricey but I have an Escali body composition scale. It tells you your body fat percentage and water percentage as well as weight!0

So does my weight watcher one. It's kinda cool to see body water percentage.0 -

Just curious. How is that possible?0 -

Something about sending small electrical pulse or something and it reads how it travels thro your body and it can estimate your muscle etc based on how it conducts....something along those lines anyway...0

Supposedly they do it with an electrical current through your body? You stand with your feet on these metal plates... super weird I know but it's been about the same as other methods of BFP calculation I've looked at, so I think it works!0 -
I used to do health fair and measure people's body fat percentage. They would hold a small device in their hands. Same concept, I think.0

Oooohhh I really want one of those! I just got a cheap digital scale. It does the job but nothing fancy. lolMine was kinda pricey but I have an Escali body composition scale. It tells you your body fat percentage and water percentage as well as weight!

I've been really happy with my Weight Watchers scale, it wasn't too expensive either. If you are looking for a body composition scale those will be more pricy, mine is just the basic digital. And don't be freaked out by the glass ones, they are sturdy.0

I bought the Weight Watchers scale from Walmart also. Before I purchased it, I went to the fitness equip section and got a 10 lb weight. I stood on the scale without the weight and then holding the weight. It increased by exactly 10 lbs, so I knew it was accurate.0

After a lot of research I bought the Tanita Body Fat Compostion Monitor (my model is now deleted) and if you follow their instructions you get very accurate readings.
If I were to buy again it would be Tanita, if it had a wifi function to automatically dump the data to an app or software on a pc/mac and then the software would provide a fantastic drill down. Perhaps even dumping my weight data to MFP automatically.
You should note that with any scale, weigh yourself in the evening, an hour after your evening meal and after exercise. Try to get the same time everyday, and always naked.0 -

I agree with the same time everyday and naked, but I've always read to weigh yourself in the morning, right after using the bathroom.0 -

Tanita tell you to do this, I am also informed that your body like your feet grows a little after night time shrinkage. So, in the evening is better for body fat compostion monitors because everything is back in it's rightful place. If that seems logical.0 -

Interesting, I'd never heard that before...0
