AUGUST CHALLENGE: 5k in 30mins or less

Starting in August, I am switching my cardio workouts to running. I have always loved running but never could get my 5k under 35-38.

CHALLENGE: Set your workout (treadmill, smartphone, watch, etc) to 30 minutes and run as far as your comfortable. Then the next time, try and beat it. Let's break this 30 minute barrier together!! :)

Post your times and distances daily.

  • My goal right now is to actually run a 5k in the fall. I think by posting my time/distance for public is a good way to motivate me even more. What a great idea!! Will def post!! :)
  • Just maybe post a reminder to your friends about this blog. I tend to forget things easily. But if I see it in my feed I'll remember to do it ;)

    awesome!! 5k's are a blast... even though i've never really posted a good time, they are so much fun to do. there is usually an event after with free stuff and just tons of people. i look forward to seeing your time progress :)
