My husband and I have decided to start eating healthier. Salads for lunch and supper. Cutting out most processed foods. We've only been doing it for about a week. I woke up this morning with a terrible stomach ache. Is this just withdrawals from all the crap I'm usually putting in my body?

Surprisingly, yes. You body becomes use to all the chemicals, sugar, fat, etc... when you start introducing things like fiberous vegetables and raw foods, your body needs to adjust... create enzymes to aid with digestion... etc... give it a couple of days and you should start feeling normal again.0

I agree it is similar to withdrawing from heroin might sound extreme but they are chemicals and do all kinds of weird and wonderful things to your body. i have 2 boys with autism and one of them also has ADHD if they eat processed food their is a massive difference in their behaviour. if they eat food cooked from scratch they are much calmer and have less bowel issues.0
