Hi
I run 3/4 times a week and i'm pretty much at goal and I now want to try and get some muscle definition - particularly in arms, which are thin but not very strong, back and core. I'm a gym member and have some hand weights at home - what is a good way to start with weights? Is Ripped in 30 days good enough for an intro?

Start light, learn form, lift heavy, increase weight as you can.

Check out the book "Starting Strength" or "New Rules of Lifting". Find a lifting buddy at the gym! :flowerforyou:0 -

I second the "starting strength" suggestion. It's a book by mark rippetoe0
