Hello everyone!
My name is oya and I'm starting my weight loss journey.
I use to be a super active kid in high school and was flat as a board everywhere! I was a late bloomer so I didn't hit puberty until my junior year. After that, everything went to poop. I started gaining weight, had no energy and got a bit depressed. I went to doctor after doctor trying to figure out was wrong. I truly believe that they thought I wasn't trying hard enough. Its the only reason I can think of f that includes five different doctors ignoring all my symptoms and telling me to try harder.
In away, I showed them! I received my bachelors of science in chemistry (early), and found a doctor willing to listen to me. She diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and PCOS. I've started my meds and I feel better than ever. I can't wait to hit my fitness goal and be myself again!
That being said, its hard getting back into the swing of things. I hope to make some competitive friends who will help give me the push I need to move forward. Lord knows I hate losing.
See ya around!
