New scale - problem

I just got a new scale because I wanted one that measured more precisely. The one I have is 10 years old and weighs to the half pound, and the new one weighs to the tenth of a pound.
Anyway, new scale came in the mail the other day and of course, I weigh more on it than on old scale. But I am concerned because the difference between the two scales isn't always the same. When I first got new scale, I weighed 0.6 lbs. more on new scale than old scale. This morning, I weighed 2.0 lbs more on new scale than old scale.
I am concerned that the new scale may not be accurate. How do I check?

hmm, Unfortunately I can't help with this one! I have never weighed myself between an old scale and new scale.0
