Newbie workout program

Whats a good program for old/fat guys like me...LOL? I can't jump right into an "Insanity" program but I want to do more than brisk walking (working my up to jogging).Is there a program out there that is a little milder but will still get the heart rate up?

    I am still a rather large fella and so some cardio is just too tough for me right now. So I have found that a weight based workout with dumbbells really gets the heart going. Lower weights and higher reps and go from exercise to exercise.

    For example my 1 set is
    15 butterflys laying on a bench
    sit right up to do 15 dumbbell curls
    right into 15 shoulder presses
    right into 15 tricept extensions.

    its all upper body but it really works up a sweat and keeps my heart right in the good fat burning zone. You can also do all of these exercises accept for the butterflys, but you can eliminate them or do seated flys which are even harder, at least for me.
