Has anyone else experienced this? I am making definate progress- lots of muscle tone developing in my legs, but only in the right views! In other views it seems like I have WAY more cellulite than before. Seems like my legs were smoother when I was larger!

What gives?

    That sounds weird but possible.
I don't have cellulite but I think Dr. Oz and Tyra Banks did shows about it. I'd say You-Tube them and see what comes up.

I have exactly the same problem. From what I've read and from talking to a guy that bodybuilds he reckons that as you gain more muscle in your legs that pushes the fat cells outwards more than they already are, increasing the appearance, but apparently after this the appearance should reduce as the more muscle you have gained burns the fat.

When you exercise and develop muscles, they push against your fat and skin, generally smoothing things you. That's what is meant by the term "tone", I believe. Building muscle doesn't actually get rid of the fat, but it can make it less noticeable with the smoothing out process. I would guess that same process can also make the cellulite more noticeable, as the muscle pushes the connective tissue against the skin. It's possible...

But the cellulite appearance is caused by fat, and I would think as you lose more fat it would start to go away.
