Calories dilema

I focus mostly on protein and calorie intake and normally protein is great. However (and I hope this makes sense) but I have an issue with my caloric intake being lower than the daily goal and I am hungry but afraid to go over and I think my OCD of being obsessed with dropping weight may be causing issues for me.
Today's calories so far:
Total: 743
Daily goal: 2155
Remaining: 1412
I worked out this morning with my P90X and felt great that I did. But then it says I need to eat more and my normal daily goal is 1400. I am not even close to that number but I so dont want to eat 2155 calories. My nutritionist says that even with P90X I should only be eating 1400 calories per day. That is contrary to everything I see on here about eating back your calories from working out. I am really confused. Help!

It's quite simple, regardless of 'eating back calories' or anything you read on here, or anything you do outside of MFP
If you don't consume as much calories as you are burning then you will lose weight
If you don't want to lose weight then you must work out your daily calorie burn (Your BMR, then your TDEE including any calories burnt from exercise) and consume at least that amount of calories
If you want to lose weight then calculate how much you want to lose per week and work that out accordingly0 -

MFP gives you an automatic deduction. Therefore if you eat back your calories you will still lose weight because your goal at the beginning of the day before excersize already has a deficit built in. THe eating back your calories thing, is MFP way of telling you its OK to eat this much.... and you will still lose weight.0

I have always eaten my exercise calories back and have consistently lost weight. For some stupid reason, a couple months ago, I got paranoid about it and stopped eating them back. My weight loss kinda started to stall...I lost only 1 pound over a 4 week period. So, week before last, I went back to eating as many of my exercise calories back as possible and have since lost 4 1/2 pounds.0

I feel like I'm overeating when I try to eat back my calories. I am losing it slowly right now but I know that once I kick it up through this second round, it should come off more steadily.0
