Scales

Here's a funny one..of course it was pretty frustrating for me but I'm rather relieved now. Never bought a scale, always just weighed myself at the gym when I got done working out. Had gotten myself down to 178 and then noticed that after a week my weight jumped about 8 pounds. Figured it was possible since I ate quite a few salty foods over the weekend and may have been holding water. Had even revised my whole mfp diet to fix it.
Went in target to grab a few things add noticed scales on sale for $6.99 so I grabbed one so I can keep a closer eye on the weight. Got home, pulled it out and jumped on it and I've actually LOST 4 pounds...then again I don't even know how long the scale at the gym has been wrong but I'm actually 174. Also, this is a testament to eating more well indeed help you drop pounds if you hit a plateau. The jump up from 1500 to 1800 cals seems to be my sweet spot.
Moral of the story, don't rely on a gym scale. Now excuse me while i go prepare a celebration feast.
