My PBF is 12.8%; BMI 22.3; "strong type" body composition type. My family doctor isn't concerned with my borderline PBF. However my dietitian is freaking out and wants me to gain.

Exercise: 3x a week I run a 5k; 1x a week I cross train
Daily: 1 mile or two (walking the dog)

Huh what? You're a guy, right? What percent does the dietician think you should be?

A normal male athlete BF% range is 6-13%. Fitness level is 14-17%. You might be a little low if you're not an athlete. If you feel comfortable and your doctor says you're healthy I wouldn't be too worried about it.
ETA of course I'm no professional. You should probably have a conversation with your doctor about your nutritionist's concerns and a conversation with your nutritionist about your doctor's approval.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am a male. I agree, I'll be discussing the concerns raised by the dietician with my family doctor.
