Is it bad that i save calories for the end of the night so i can snack? I know there are different opinions on how late you should eat but i sleep better on a not hungry stomach.

I don't think it's bad as long as you're doing it reasonably:
Reasonable: Eating a light breakfast or lunch so you can eat popcorn and watch a movie later, and maybe have a beer.
Unreasonable: Skipping meals all day so you can gorge on 2 cakes, a whole package of cookies, and 14 beers.
I'm sure you'll be okay
