In order to lose weight, it is more beneficial to engage in high intensity workouts (in order to burn the maximum number of calories) or low intensity workouts (in order to stay within your "fat burning zone"--60-70% of maximum heart rate)???

do a mix.. there's 7 whole days of the week you can exercise, so you dont have to commit to 1 thing every time you work out
i personally do 2-3 HIIT sessions a week in addition to heavy weight lifting and 2-3 days of less intense days0 -
I agree with doing a mix because your body does need rest after High intensity and will get used to whatever you do regurarly.. For me I do High intensity interval training (think sprints mixed in to walking or jogging) one day then a distance/time goal the next time without sprints..0

I love Zumba and I have been going to a 60-min Zumba class 2 times a week. They are pretty high impact and I burn a lot of calories....I am definitely above my "fat burning zone" which is why I raised the question that I raised.0
