there are these chocolates in denmark called 'skildpadder'. they are manufactured by toms. anyway, they are little chocolate turtles filled with caramel and a touch of brandy. they really are just heaven.

i love chocolate & sweets, and especially love trying new types. i've been to every capital city here in europe with the main object being to try the local chocolate!

suddenly i can see how i ended up on MFP!

Poutain (it's a Canandian dish and I'm sure it is really bad for me)

    *poutine.

And it's delicious. But combining french fries, cheese curds and gravy does not exactly make it MFP friendly, unfortunately.

I miss kinder eggs, real doner kebab, flammkuchen (alsacian flat bread with creme fraiche, bacon and onions), good beer (it doesn't taste the same imported)....the list goes on and on

Oh I also miss German Fanta (a lot like orangina) and Mezzo Mix/Spezi, which is like a mix between that Fanta and Coke.

I will echo above sentiments that I'm kinda glad I can't get these foods here....

I'm in Canada and I want:

    Olive Garden (US)
    Chili's (US)
REAL Cadbury chocolate (UK!) - the stuff here tastes gross compared to the REAL stuff.
Tesco Chocolate Chip muffins...really random but I LOVE THEM they are SO GOOD. I miss the UK...
Nutty Bars (US but I've recently seen them here so...maybe...)

So basically... I need to move back to the US or the UK.....not that I do not LOVE my home country of Canada...but seriously. I love my Timmies though (Tim Horton's - its a coffee place, I don't drink coffee but I love their foods).. haha.
