Klonopin and losing weight

Hi all .. these last 6 months have been very hectic for me. My mother had a hysterectomy and my dad is having 3 stents done. I have been so nervous with all the pressure and worrying. My doctor put me on .5 of klonopin. I am now trying to lose 35lbs. Does anyone know if the klonopin will hinder my success? I know i gained the 35lbs b/c i was making poor eating choices. Advice please?
