Hello, New to MFP!

Hello guys, I'm a busy working Mum and just like most of you have been trying to diet on my own for years. I moved to Scotland back in 2005 and was very surprised with all the big portions of food here which was almost double than my normal food intake but I hate wasting food so tried hard to finish them all!

Over the years, I have an immunity to the portion size and can finish a plate of food with no problem. I find that even my portions at home have gone larger too. Being busy at work, I also didnt have time to exercise like I used to as it is mostly work then home to spend time with my daughter. 7 years on, I am 2 dress sizes bigger, adopted an extra chin and 2 extra flabs on my tummy.

I started hating having my photo taken and have gone through various dieting on my own, most of which last only for days or one to two weeks before I go on my normal eating habit again.

When a workmate decided to join Slimmers, I thought I should do it. I need the support of others to help me. Thats been 2 weeks now since I joined and I am 6lbs lighter. But I find keeping track of my food was hard so was really glad when I found this site and bonus that it has a mobile App that will keep me on track during those going out days!

I aim to lose at least 25lbs by end of this year and my ultimate target is to lose 50lbs to be on my healthy BMI count.
