Choose your health!

If your ultimate goal is a specific size or a number on the scale, you are going to end up stressed out and disappointed. Choose to see yourself as an athlete...now. (even if you are 100lbs or more overweight) Once you make that shift in your mind, then you can focus on what really matters..your health. If you concentrate on your performance (getting stronger, faster, going longer) and fueling your body with clean foods that help you perform well, your weight will take care of itself. Please don't live your life stressed out and miserable because you're chasing a number that doesn't matter in the long run. Choose your health!

I always find myself freaking about the scale going up with water weight! No more the scale is not going to dictate my lifestyle change. :0)

    Well stated. It's amazing how "mental" getting healthy, fit and loosing weight is. Get it outta my head man!! Get moving, lift weights and eat enough calories (but not too many) and the rest will fall into place, right?!
