Running Streaks

What is your longest running streak? Do you believe in streaks?

My longest running streak was 66 days. At the time, the 'streak' was important to me. I wanted to see how many days in a row I could run. Then life happend and the streak ended. When it ended, so did my fixation on the whole 'streak' idea. Now I take rest days where I don't run at all. So bye bye 'streaks'!

What are your thoughts?

Hmm.. maybe I'll start this! I'm afraid if I start a streak I might get a little too obsessed though. It could last years lol

I don't do streaks. Never have, never will. I stick to a 4 day a week running schedule (plus 1-2 days strength training). It's worked for me for years and I have yet to have an injury.

And you know what they say, if it ain't broken, why fix it?

I'm currently at 3888 days. I control my diabetes through diet, so I need to watch my carbs especially.
