EMeals?

Has anyone done this? Groupon is having a special, so I am considering trying it. I'm in a rut (emotionally, not weight-wise) right now, and a big part of it is that I just feel overwhelmed with the working mother/wife role, including a household guest for a few months (DH's brother). Meal planning, which I used to enjoy, is feeling like a chore. I'd also like to save a few bucks at the grocery store--I never seem to make the time to clip coupons. I'd have to go the "Any Store" route, because the closest of those stores is Wal-Mart--a good 25 mins a way (plus I've never shopped there so it would slow me down; my husband already thinks I spend too much time at the food store every Sun morning!). Thoughts? I'd probably go with the Clean Eating or Low-Carb plan. Would be cooking for myself, DH, BIL, 5 year old and 2 year old. Thanks in advance!

I don't know what the groupon special is, but we LOVE using Build a menu. (www.BuildAMenu.com) We used emealz a long time ago, but didn't like being stuck in a plan or have to shop at the one store we picked when we signed up. Build a menu lets you choose from any of their stores and any of their meals every week. They also show the prices like emealz does, but you have much more flexibility to choose the meals your family will actually eat. I also love that they donate money to orphan charities. Hope that helps!

It does! I know that they now have any "Any Store" option and that you can change your plan every month. But I will also check out build a meal!!!

Yes! E-Mealz is like my recipe bible and is the inspiration for many of my dishes. I tweak many of them to fit my nutritional needs sometimes and the very best ones I write down and share with my friends. It's a weekly meal planner based on your diet/needs and will print our a corresponding grocery list for you so in theory it's supposed to save you time and if you stick to your grocery list then it will help you save money too. Dave Ramsey swears by this website.

Other than the Groupon deal, if you type in "DAVE" in the coupon / discount box when paying, you will save like 10% or something like that.

    Hope this helps!
