Ive been logging on for about five weeks, and have hit some kind of wall. I've never enjoyed exercise, but have stopped doing any now, so don't feel great about myself. I figured if I just eat within my calorie allowance I will still lose weight. Well guess what. I'm not.
Also so confused with the apparent conflicts of opinion on here. Eat more and lose more? Eat back your calories? Don't go under your BMR? It all seems like an exact science that is beyond me. I want a one-size-fits-all formula that's guaranteed to work, and there just ISN'T ONE!
Very bored of counting and logging and not losing.

If your not losing weight it. Could be a couple of things one is your not eating enough. I stopped working out for a month when I started to work again and still losing weight. Are u very active? Even though u do not work out. Another thing could be you are eating to much since your not working out. You can lose weight without working out as long as you are active it is just a little harder. Also if you are very active you want to make sure u are eating more than 1200 caps. I'm not sure what your calorie goal is. I started at 1200 when I was just working out and not working than I had to up them to 1300 - 1400 because I stopped losing weigh. Now I am working I up the calories goal to 1700 and losing weight. It all depends on what you do through out the day. I log on everyday and log everything I eat no matter if I eat horribly for the day. I have been logging seen February and lost 58 lbs since I started. I hope this helps0

It's all very tedious and boring, but it works. Log everything and make sure you are moving everyday. It can just be a walk around the block at lunchtime, or in the moring or evenings, something. I love to walk my dog. He is so stubborn and thinks we do things his way, so when I walk him it's almost like a game. I've been logging for two and an half years now. I really feel a lot of my sucess is from the habit of logging and that way I can see where I need imporvement etc.
Don't get discouraged. There are a lot of us right there with you.0
