Too bad we're not all athletes like that. God help them when they aren't competing anymore and don't have those exercise levels. They will have to restructure their whole diet. 4,000 calories for breakfast...? Ha!0

I was a swimmer in high school and we did two a day practices often (think 3 hard hours a day working out). I clearly remember eating a pound of pasta by myself at dinner many a night. And still being hungry afterwards. My coach used to tell us to go get donughts on the way home from a really hard morning practice so we'd be able to swim again that afternoon. I totally believe that article, because I was on a smaller version on it myself in highschool.
Sigh, I wish I could still do that. Now I'm trying to re-learn how to eat with a 30 minute workout a day and a slowing middle-aged metabolism. There are days I wish I could workout for hour after hour just so I could eat like crazy again. :-)0 -
I'd like to be ABLE to do that, but I think I'd hate to HAVE to do it. It has to get tedious...0
