Rasberry ketones and counting calories

Im a newbie and just started counting calories. Never tried it before but being 31 my body is calling for a weight loss. I dont want to be skinny , but I want to be a comfortable weight again. I purchased raspberry ketones after seeing it on Dr oz and doing research has anyone tried it? If so please tell me if it has helped with counting calories, exercise, and the ketones??? also oatmeal does that really help with weight loss?
