Joined up 2 days ago. From Christchruch, New Zealand. Never counted calaries before and great to learn what some things are worth! Also a bit of guess work on the exercise.

Target to lose 15kg. Joined the gym 4 weeks ago and not lost any weight on the scales so less calories it is...

Welcome! I just joined today. I've noticed that being accountable for every thing I eat and all exercise I do has really put my habits into perspective - you're able to see where you need to start fixing, which I'm finding very helpful. I've a similar weight loss goal, and I'm planning on joining up with a gym this week to supplement dieting. If you'd like any support, feel free to add me :)

Gym can be great fun. Is the first time I've really got into classes and seem to want to go back so must be a good thing ! Use to run and got sore hips so simple solution to that was to stop running.

I used to hate running. I associated it with punishment because of tennis coaches. I'm trying to build up my endurance, though. It's not so bad when listening to fun music, I find.
I definitely think working out with others (gym, classes, etc) helps with motivation. I'm the only person in my family making a conscious effort right now, and that's becoming difficult.
