Men is this really true?!

You should only consider breast implants and tummy tucks for yourself - NOT for a guy.
You should try and look good regularly for yourself - NOT for a guy.
That being said, if you're in a loving/caring/good relationship, you should try and do something a bit "more" for your guy as well ... why? Because it's a nice thing to do.
Your relationship sounds pretty bad.
Also remember, he's not stuck with you. There's always divorce. You might want to talk through your problems before it comes to this.0 -
If they just want something warm - isn't that the reason "American Pie" was such a huge hit?
Your husband should want YOU.0 -
Where and what was your husband doing when his friend was talking this much crap? I should hope he would have pulled his friend up on it.
If you want implant for yourself then do it same with a tummy tuck but if you're doing it for your husband (who may not of even had the balls to stick up for you) then you are making a serious mistake.0 -
Women, can you stop speaking for the men, because you really dont know. Really.0

So you are saying ak men are shallow? Maybe you should stop talking on behalf of all men as you clearly have no idea!0 -

Not all men feel like that. My husband always says that I look beautiful, even when I don't agree. He doesn't want anyone else. I can understand the appeal of looking at someone else, say a strip club or someone on television, but at the end of the night I'm the one he wants to come home to. Everyone deserves someone that sees beauty when you just see chaos. And if you want implants, get them. They are for you. I want a reduction, not for my husband, but because I would like to have small(er) perkey breasts. He doesn't even foctor into the equation. I'm just happy he likes the idea.0

Some people are this way... not me. I'm in a relationship with my best friend, I don't want anyone but her.
Sweet!!!!!0 -
The guys that are like the the man you're describing in your post...are the sh*tbags that all men are usually based on.
Not all men are like this... but, unfortunately some men are.
For a lot of men "strange" is what they need, want and use to look good in front of their friends and give them something to talk about, and something that makes them feel better about themselves.
Please avoid these people. You can't fix stupid.
Nothing is wrong with implants, or tummy tucks.. or whatever you want or need ....
the problem lies in idiots like whoever the hell you were talking to tonight.
Your friend who needs a different girl everynight, prob just needs that "warm" place, because he hasn't had it in a really long time. And he is probably searching for more than a warm place, but can't seem to find it... most likely bc of said conversation. lol
Just my opinion.. good luck. lol0 -
Well maybe he was just being sarcastic for his friend. Hope so. I don't think most men feel that way and if my husband said that I would be upset. Not mad but kinda hurt. He has to look at porn to get aroused?? really ?? That's a problem. Normal men get aroused when the wind blows. If he wants a different girl every day, then why did he get married?? You have definately got yourself in a situation. If that's how he really feels, then I'd move on. Before 20 yrs past and I was like "WTF" why did I just waste 20 yrs on this loser that's cheating on me. Possibly givning me who knows what from someone. Got some thinking girl. There are plenty of GOOD GUYS out there.0

Drenched, Drenched, Drenched. What's the first rule of Manhood? You can't let the ladies know the truth; otherwise there would be utter chaos!!!0 -
Sorry. Your husband's friend and your husband sound like douche nozzles.0

I think you're gorgeous, definitely no tummy tuck needed. I like big boobs so if thats what YOU prefer, go for it because it'll make you feel badass when you look in the mirror.0

I was just kidding around. Ofcourse men dont ever think of cheating on their wives. They dont watch porn, and they are as sexually attracted to them as they were the day they met.0 -
Boys want, "strange" but good men, real men want the love of their lives. If you and your husband love each other and are happy to be with each other everyday (there are moments of anger etc, so aside from those) then who cares what this other guy thinks. I can't help but think that he hasn't found the woman that will forever have his attention and most of all his heart.0

Aren't you trying to look good for yourself?

Just to clarify..
My husband did NOT say ANY of this. His friend did. Luckily my husband works so much he doesn't have time to hang around this friend very often (like maybe 2 a year).
My husband is VERY sarcastic and was making jokes.. I don't know if he even knew that the conversation bothered me. If so I'm 100% SURE he'd stick up for me.
Hubby doesn't even want me to get Breast Implants. He thinks mine are fine. I'm the one that wants them.
Ultimately I'm wanting to look good for me.. If I was just trying to look good for my husband I'd be in maintenance, cause he thinks I look GREAT now.
Reason why I asked the question, is if I asked my husband this same question. I'd know what his answer would be. But wouldn't know if it would be his honest opinion. LOL0 -

I say do what make you happy-YOU need to live in that skin. He's said "Guys like something new"0 -
I take back my comment about your husband then. I misinterpreted your post as your husband saying men like strange. :flowerforyou:0
