Hi everyone, my name is Sharon and I am new to my fitness pal. In the first week I have lost 5lbs. I am 41 and have 40-50 pounds that I would love to shed for good. I have lost weight in the past but it keeps finding me. I have come to realize that it truly is a lifestyle change if you want it to work forever. I am now willing to make those changes so that I can lead a more healthy life and enjoy more physical activities with my family.
I have had surgery on my left knee and my back which sometimes makes exercise difficult, including walking for long periods at a time. If anyone has suggestions of exercises that are easy on the knees, please share!

Cycling on a exercise bike is really good for your knees. It helps to strengthen the muscles around your knees. Good luck on your new life style. Stay committed, its worth it.0
