Water Weight

Does anyone know of a way to adequately determine water weight loss?

Currently, I TRY my best to do my weigh ins at the same day of the week each week, and making the previous day's sodium intake similar as well, but finding that a wee bit difficult to do. Would love to know if there is a way to make a reasonable guess on water weight.

I am a smaller guy at 5'4" and started MFP at 139.8lbs... slight variations in water weight come up as a significant percentage of my overall weight.

Should I just stick to weighing myself same day of the week, in the same exact conditions, and doing my best to keep the previous day's sodium at a constant?

There are scales out there that do measure your water weight percentage and your body fat percentage. I doubt that they're very accurate but they could probably give you a pretty good comparison from week to week!
