Start of my weight loss journey

I just started my weight loss program today. I signed up for the YMCA yesterday and made my first work out today. I did 2 miles on the treadmill in 40 minutes with my heart rate at 125 - 145, I don't know if that is good or not. I could use some encouragement. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and I am 260 lbs. I need to lose 100 lbs. Good news, I don't have heart disease, my eye sight is not damaged and my feet look good. I am in need of strong people for friendship who understand the excuses I will makeup for not exercising and over eating.

    Great Start! Being educated, concerned, and getting moving is a great start! I'd make sure you have talked to your doctor about this journey, too, if you haven't.
