How to add a receipe??

I have only been doing this site for 1 week and I am just wondering how to add a receipe. I am making chili for supper and I was wondering if there was a way to put the recipe all together. Like put in all the ingred. for the amount in the pot and then say I had 1 serving of the 8 servings it would be or do I need to figure out what each would be for example, my kidney beans are 540 ml for the whole can I used but I am not going to eat all that at a serving like maybe 1/2 a cup if that. So do I put in what I figure the percent is for 1/2 cup or put in for the whole can.

I use this web site first:
http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp
then I figure out the servings, and add a new food product on myfitnesspal0 -
I also use the sparkpeople recipe calculator and then add my food in here under a name that I can easily find. Sparkpeople is a fabulous site and works quite well in conjunction with this one.
