Hey ya'll...fairly new to the forums here. What the heck is "bump"? I see people writing it all over the place.

It is used to have the thread a person started go to the top of the other threads so people can see it like it is new.0

bump is a forum term used to bring or "bump"a topic back up to the top of the list so people will read it.0

A "bump" moves a topic back up to the top of the page where more people will tend to read it, and it adds the bumped topic to the "My Topics" link at the top of the page, making it easier to find for later reference. That's why you'll see "Bumped for later" a lot. On some forums you'll see "Tagged for later," which means the same thing.0

Means that you can look at it later it will show up on your profile page under forums you have looked at, cause some topics disappear quickly...0
