Does Anyone Else Do This?

Whenever I'm watching tv or sitting around the house and I'm "starving," I have a few go-to foods to gauge exactly how hungry I am. Before dieting, I would just go out to the kitchen and grab potato chips or cookies or any other kind of unhealthy snack food, trying to solve my "hunger" that was really just boredom eating!
Now, I go to foods that I like well enough, but that I'd certainly never sing praises about. It's mind over matter. "Okay, Megan, if you're really hungry then you should eat a serving of celery or carrots."
Most of the time, I realize that it's just boredom eating, and I'd rather drink a water instead! If I'm not hungry enough to eat celery, then I'm not really hungry at all!
