Army PT test

Put your score up. I heard mention of it the other day, so I checked it out. here's a link to the 3 tests.
http://www.army.com/enlist/2-mile-run.html
now granted, I didn't actually do the 2 mile run, but I know what my 2 mile is, and I run 4miles 2 days a week, (and I was lowballing my estimate so I didn't over do it). I know I can do 13 minutes for 2 miles, but I put down 13:30, just to be safe.
so my score was 245, try it out, and see what your score is, and see if you can improve. It's a great little test, doesn't take long, and gives you some pretty good general PF measurements.
I did full body weight training yesterday, so my arms were a little rubbery during the push ups.
I plan on trying again Sunday, see if I can get up to 250. By mid November I want to be at 260.

I can't run two miles.
PT score = FAIL.

None expected. Just replying to your post
I've always had a goal of meeting Army PT standards in my exercise.
To me, that is the epitomy of being in shape.0 -
bumping to try this later. Even at 5 1/2 months pregnant, I'm pretty dang close to the height/weight requirements, so I'm interested to see how I'd do on the other aspects. I know I could do 10 pushups in 2 minutes.0

I got about 285. But I should add I am in the Air Force. Our test is similar but I score better on the Army's test except I weigh too much. We have a service rivalry going so it was fun to see how I'd score on their test. Our test is changing in January. They also include abdominal circumferance which is my bad area.0

I would need four additional age classifications.0

which is unfortunate, because some (most?) of that is almost certainly genetic.0 -
wow, 285 is amazing. That's like, elite athlete stuff right there, talking about sub 8 minute mile run, over 40 push ups and over what? 70 sit ups? Awesome job girl!0
