New to the site and the forums

Hey all!
I hadn't heard about the site until today, through a friend of a friend.
I am looking to get down under 200 pounds for the first time since college, twenty years ago. I quit smoking about five months ago and won't go back to THAT ever again. I'll be honest though... I put on damn near twenty pounds since then and I really need to drop it again. Even though I feel MUCH better, I know I'd feel better yet if I lost some weight.
I've planted my own garden and try to eat my own veggies right out of the ground when I can! I work in construction, so I get a pretty exhausting workout every day, but probably not enough on the cardio end of things.
Thanks for the great site and I look forward to getting good help and encouragement from everyone on here, and in time maybe I can give some back!
