I just made some this past weekend, and it was yummy.
Here's my easy and simple recipe:
1 pkt great value chili mix
1 lb ground turkey
1 can great value chili ready tomatoes
1 can of red or kidney beans- undrained
1 can of corn- drained 1/2 way( optional)
cayenne pepper ( to taste; your level of heat)
banana peppers
Its really simple and easy. I used the banana peppers to sprinkle on top of a bowl at a time. Also you can other seasoning that you may like, such as chili powder and a little garlic powder.
1) brown turkey
2) add chili mix; mix the chili mix in before adding anything else, to make sure its coating the ground turkey( this also where you can add extra seasoning if you want or wait till its finished simmering)
3) add tomatoes; mix in
4) add beans and corn mix in well
5) simmer all together appoximately 10 mins, and its ready to serve0 -
