I'm new. What to set as a daily goal?

Need help getting started. I'm trying to reduce my carb intake but not exactly sure what to set them too.. And the same with daily calories. Please help!

    I agree for calories. I like my carbs slightly lower (40%) following recommendations for keeping a lower, flatter blood sugar and insulin level. But unless you have a good reason to change it, there's nothing wrong with what they give you to start.
