Working out at the gym.

If I can only make it to the gym 3 days a week, does it matter if those 3 days are all in a row??

1st I would say any exercise is better than no exercise... 2nd I personally would do some kind of exercise at home for 2 or 3 days and take one or two days off if it was me. If that is too much for you then refer to point number 1 and watch your calorie intake every day.

There are people on here that know much more than me though so definitely wait for some others to chime in. :)

It really depends on your goals and what routine you are after/following.

Doing heavier exercise day after day while still sore....no

Doing three lighter and varying worksouts...maybe

Any exercise is better than none. It all comes down to finding what programs give you what you are looking for.

You need to have pretty specific goals to reach your maximum

If you're weightlifting, then you absolutely need to rest between your lifts unless you're doing a split routine that isolates certain muscle groups.

For other kinds of workouts, it's less important but still not ideal to workout 3 days in a row and then rest for 4 days.
