I am looking for some suggestions for strength training. I am not a gym member but I would like to add some strength training to my fittness routine. Are there any apps for that?

There are apps, but most are gym based, or worthless.

If you'd like a bodyweight routine, there's an EXCELLENT one listed on my profile page. I used it (with a healthy deficit) to lose 40lbs of fat in 3mos.

I use Jefit on my droid. It gives a description of each exercise as well as shows an animation demonstrating the exercise.

GAIN Fitness for iOS has in-app expansion purchases but the free base version will get you started pretty well. Same with Workout Trainer by Skimble.

JEFit is awesome. I second this. IOS version is great as well.

I walk while I watch TV. And use stretchy bands. Doesn't seem to take any time. Just sitting anyway. Takes a bit to get used to it, once you figure out how it works best for you. It works like a charm.
