I've added new nutrients tracked but was curious to know which one's are the most important to track when trying to lose weight?
Any suggestions and why they should be tracked would be appreciated

You can track up to 6 items (wish it was more). I track calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber and cholesterol. Protein, fat and carbos are the 3 macronutrients and it's good to know what # and % you are eating; protein is very important to maintain and build muscle, and for controlling appetite.
I personally track fiber and cholesterol as I have both a family and personal history of high cholesterol and trigylcerides. If you had hypertension, you might want to replace one of these with sodium. If you had diabetes, perhaps you would want to track your sugar intake. So it really depends on your personal health history. Hope this helps. I wish MFP would let us track 10 or 12 nutrients!0 -
Thanks that helps. I wish I could track all nutrients too.0
