Hello! I've been trying to lose weight since November of last year, and have been incredibly frustrated. I did manage to lose seven and a half pounds by June of this year. Then, amazingly, after I had hip replacement surgery, I focused on portion control because I couldn't exercise obsessively the way I'm accustomed to doing, and I've managed to lose another six pounds since the surgery! So my total weight loss now is 13.5 pounds and I am very pleased.
I am reallly starting to believe I may reach my goal weight and lose the additional nine pounds. I can now fit into a size eight J. Crew black linen cocktail dress that I bought at a consingment shop and have kept in my closet these many years as an 'aspirational' outfit.

You're doing great! Be sure to do some weights in your work-outs so your skin stays toned! Keep up the good work!0
