Anyone care to give some pointers?

I am a 22 year old female trying to lose around 40 pounds. I took a bad spill off of a horse last winter and broke 5 bones, including my hip and gained about 30ish pounds. I am 5'6" and before my accident I was 155 pounds. I am around 180 now and my goal weight is 140ish. I am eating a ton of fruits and veggies and I walk a ton. I am also riding my horses nearly everyday. Any pointers to help jump start my diet to help me meet my goal? Thanks in advance!!!

Add some weights into your exercise. When you build muscle, it increases your metabolism which a "burns fat faster"...and that's what we want, right? LOL

I use a beachbodies.com program called "Chalean extreme" where your do weights (dumb bells) 3 days a week and aerobics / abs 3 days a week....and boy has my body changed!

    Good luck to you!:flowerforyou:
  • I totally agree with this and used weights when I lost weight the first time round!
Well done for losing 30lbs btw!
