What to bring for lunch

I know it is still summer, but I was wondering what to bring for lunch at school. I want to have a filling lunch that is still healthy. I don't want to have to starve myself just to be healthy and lose weight, I know there are many ways around that and I want to find one. I need to find food to bring that is light, won't spoil in my backpack, can fit in a brown paper bag, and most importantly food that is healthy...or at least somewhat healthy.

If anyone has any ideas for me to try, please post in this thread! Thanks! (:

I would recommend that you get some type of insulated lunch bag. You can get one that folds over like a brown paper bag. This will open up your options. If you just want to go with room temp foods you could do peanut butter & honey sandwiches, trail mixes, fruit, canned/pouched tuna...

There are soo many options out there! Starting off with the basics: (assuming you aren't a vegetarian/vegan)
-sandwich (fill it with veggies and lean protein like turkey, tuna, chichen, etc)
-salad (there are so many ways to make one!!) with some protein like chicken breast, and a light dressing
    -fruits
    -yogurt
    -wraps
-burger (can be made with ground turkey/chicken)
Those are just some of the things that came to mind. The possibilities are endless! Hope this helps :) Always make sure to include protein in every meal!
