You have a higher BMI than 93% of females aged 15-29 in your country

You have a higher BMI than 99% of females aged 15-29 in the world

    Did you know?
If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would add 100,094,466 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population

Good grief. Lucky I'm doing somethin' about that, then.

Seems a bit fishy to me. It claims I have a higher BMI than 100% (country and world).

This made me smile, because just a few months ago, my BMI was way too high. We got a Wii Fit for the family a year and a half ago, and when I stepped on the "step," my little avatar person plumped up to HUGE! (Needless to say, I never got on it again!)

Don't get depressed. We are all here doing something about our weight.

Before I started MFP I was 215 with a BMI of 31, which was 62% above 30-44 yr olds and 91% above the world average. I was most like someone from Kuwait.

    Now...

I am 33, 5'9.5" and weigh 164.6. I have a BMI of 24 and am 81% better than our National average and am right at 50% for the World average. I am most like someone from Nigeria.

Yay progress feels good! Can't wait to meet my goal!!

This was very encouraging, especially when I put in my starting weight (BMI 25) and it said
You have a lower BMI than 65% of females aged 15-29 in your country
You have a higher BMI than 75% of females aged 15-29 in the world
