A small NSV for me!

I started my journey 30 days ago. On July 2nd, I joined a gym so I could swim....by far my favorite exercise. On the first day, I swam for 30 minutes and huffed and puffed at the end of every 25 yard pool length (I couldn't even make it a whole lap before I had to stop). At the end of my 30 minutes, I had finished 12 laps (600 yards) and my muscles were screaming. I have gone to the gym at least 3 times a week since then and slowly I felt I was getting stronger. Today, I was able to swim 20 laps (1000 yards) and at the end, I felt GREAT! I find myself being able to continue swimming at the end of my lap and don't have to stop to get my breath. I know that 1/2 hour to swim 1000 yards isn't a world record or anything.....but having the endurance to do it is amazing for me! I can't wait to see where I am in 6 months. The triathlon that I want to do next year is a lot closer!
