All Sugars Not Created Equally?

Just throwing this up for disussion...I eat a mostly plant strong diet and have had tremendous success since I started. But one thing I have noticed is that in my daily goals, I am almost always over on sugars by up to ten or so grams, even though I eat no processed foods with refined sugar at all. If I'm under in calories and am not taking in foods that are spiking my blood sugar with refined processed stuff, is this really a big deal?

Fructose (fruit sugars) and lactose (dairy sugars) are not AS bad as added sugars. This site doesn't give you the option to differentiate between the two.

Just be aware that your body views sugars as um...sugar. With that said, fructose and lactose are not as bad. If you must have fruit, eat the whole fruit, not juices or dried, since that concentrates the sugars.

I'm sure you're fine. The sugar numbers here could be viewed as "added sugar" and that would be in line with FDA recommendations.
